hey, your post are usually great, but this one is actually pretty lame. Butter is sometimes used by smugglers – thick layer of such a mass can fool xray scanner and it’s much easier to explain having a jar of butter than additional, suspicious-looking suitcase
You actually can’t xray through peanut butter, it’s too dense. So hide your stuff in a jar of peanut butter.

This isn’t a weird question, because Like said before you can’t. But also because the smell of peanutbutter masks the smell of weed. So its one ofthe ways to smuggle a small amount of weed on an airplane. I’m not sure if this is true. i do know someone who has smuggled weed into iran this way
Yeah, as mentioned by others, this is a common way to smuggle stuff.
Peter: do you have a link or evidence to suggest you can’t xray through peanut butter? As far as I am aware, a cavity in the middle of a processed product (as would be the case with weed in a jar of PB) will show up on those airport scanners. In that case you are just relying on the presence of lazy airport security staff.
Mick: Your friend is a dope for even bothering. Drugs can be obtained in Iran anyway, but why wouldn’t you just go to one of Iran’s many regional neighbours who accept weed and hash? You can buy kilo-blocks of hash at government operated markets in Pakistan. This is not hearsay. I’ve seen my friend’s photo of his mild mannered Japanese friend holding an AK and a kilo.
Sounds awesome. I don’t think she got the opportunity to do so since she went with her family to visit other family. It is easier to walk in a shop here and to just buy it then to search iran for people who supply a kilo. But still another fun fact about iran

yes peanut butter can be used to go around x-rays. Just dig it put you stuff tightly raped in it, then cover the hole with peanut butter. You can probably put enough plastic in there to blow a plane (lol).
